Terms & Conditions

Effective: 1 May 2027

1. Definitions

In these terms and conditions, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Pennine Operations Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13684291, VAT number GB 371 4829 05), with its registered office at Castle Gate House, 25 Castle Gate, Nottingham NG1 7AQ. "You" and "your" refer to the individual or organisation booking or attending our training services. "Services" refers to the training courses, programmes, and related professional development activities we provide. A "booking" is a confirmed reservation for one or more participants to attend a course.

2. Scope

These terms govern all training services provided by Pennine Operations Group Ltd. By placing a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you are booking on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms. We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time; the version in effect at the date of your booking shall apply to that booking.

3. Bookings and Confirmation

Bookings may be made by telephone, email, or through our website inquiry form. A booking is not confirmed until we have issued a written confirmation (by email) specifying the course, dates, venue, number of participants, and fees. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion. All bookings are subject to availability.

4. Pricing and Payment

Individual seats are priced from £1,250 per participant. Corporate bookings of eight or more participants qualify for our group rate, starting at £950 per seat. All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT, which will be charged at the applicable rate. We will issue an invoice upon booking confirmation. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, at a rate of 8% above the Bank of England base rate, plus any reasonable recovery costs.

5. Cancellation by You

Cancellations must be made in writing (email to enquiries@pennineops.co.uk). The following cancellation charges apply:

Substitution of a named participant with another person from the same organisation is permitted at no additional charge, provided you notify us in writing at least 48 hours before the course start date.

Where you are a consumer (an individual acting outside of your trade, business, craft, or profession), you have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of confirmation under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, provided the course has not yet commenced. To exercise this right, contact us in writing within the 14-day period. If the course is scheduled to begin within the 14-day cancellation period and you have given express consent for the service to begin, you acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once the service has been fully performed.

6. Cancellation or Changes by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to insufficient enrolment, trainer unavailability, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we cancel a course, you will receive a full refund of any fees paid. We will give you as much notice as practicable. Our liability in the event of cancellation is limited to a refund of fees paid; we shall not be liable for any consequential losses such as travel or accommodation costs.

7. Course Delivery

Courses may be delivered at our premises in Nottingham, at your premises, or remotely, as agreed at the time of booking. We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the course as described. However, we reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to course content, materials, or trainers where necessary. Maximum group size is eight participants per session. Session recordings are provided for 30-day replay access following the course, subject to the terms of use communicated at the time of delivery.

8. Intellectual Property

All course materials, recordings, documentation, and related content remain the intellectual property of Pennine Operations Group Ltd. Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use course materials for their own professional development. Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared outside your organisation without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any matter for which it would be unlawful for us to exclude or restrict liability. Subject to the foregoing, our total liability to you in respect of any booking shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that booking. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic, industrial action, power failure, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will use reasonable endeavours to reschedule affected courses.

11. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

12. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises in connection with these terms or any booking, we encourage you to contact us first to seek an informal resolution. If the matter cannot be resolved informally, either party may refer the dispute to mediation administered by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) under its mediation procedure. If mediation does not result in a settlement, either party may pursue the matter through the courts. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief where necessary.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.
